Thank you for visiting my website.
In the photo above, I am looking for inspiration;
are you looking to be inspired?
I hope that at least one of my art pieces can do that for you!

I do portraits of people, pets or
homes, reproductions of
Master's works, my own original
artwork as well as fabric art,
murals and photography.

I consider this website to be
my portfolio.  Because of that, I
have used some very large
image files to show the details,
which will certainly take a long
time to load even with DSL and
especially if you use a dial-up
connection.  I hope you will
be patient.

Most of my artwork is commissioned
and therefore almost
 everything you will see on
this site will not be for sale.
But, I do think the ability to see
a body of work better enables you
to make a decision regarding the
purchase of something for yourself.

Most of my photographs,
 however, are for sale.

To commission an art piece
or to purchase anything from
this website, please contact
me through my email
address listed below.

My prices vary from $25 to
$2500 usually.
Most portraits fall within the $800
to $1200 price range.
Murals are charged at a
$50-$75 an hour rate.

The "artwork details" page lists sizes,
medium and any other pertinent information
about all artwork that is for sale.
I work in oil, acrylic, pastel,
watercolor, mixed media and
photography (mostly computer
altered images), besides fabric.

None of my pictures or texts
may be used or published without
my explicit written permission.
All the artwork is copyrighted.

Thank you.

I am all of the above names, individually and collectively.  I have used all of them at one time or another for many different reasons, but they are all part of me.  I sign my work with jmART- all my initials and/or with a star, which I have tattooed on my left index finger.

I am an artist.  I believe that ART is not a thing.  It is a way of life and it is part of my entire life.  I do have a Master's Degree in Fine Art, but long before I got that, everything that I did, I did with the eyes and soul of an artist.

I am a minister's wife.  Probably not your typical minister's wife...I believe in a lot that the minister does not, and don't believe a lot that the minister does believe.  But we have been married for 42 years and our marriage is far more open and honest than most.  We are connected on some level that I can not explain and can not do without.  We do call it love.

I am a mother of two wonderful, intelligent, compassionate and loving, besides beautiful, girls.  They have grown up to be my best friends, and I thank  them dearly for that.

I am also a grandmother and I hope my grandchildren will always remain the
"sunshine" in
my life.
Their names are Arianna, Ayden, Ashtyn and Ayvre.

They call me Bama.
